the flower farm

This picture captured the day it all started. The day I fell in love with 7 acres on the edge of the Peak District and began a wild journey to build a house and start a flower farm.

I now tend a modest one acre for the flower farm, and grow some of my favourite flowers. The rest we have given back to the wild.

As well as wedding and event flowers, from spring to autumn I provide seasonal bunches, wholesale buckets and farewell flowers.

sustainability

I care about the environment and use local, seasonal flowers wherever possible. I use eco-friendly materials and techniques in both the flower farm and my floristry, avoiding pesticides, floral foam and single use plastics.

flowers from the farm

I am a member of Flowers from the Farm, the British association of artisan flower growers. Buying local, seasonal flowers reduces the carbon footprint of blooms, supports local ecology and economies.

the northern forest

We have planted 1500 trees on the farm to supporting the The Northern Forest, which aims to plant over 50 million trees across the north of England. As well as capturing carbon, the trees are helping to re-wild our 7 acres and develop the natural ecosystem.
