Planning your growing for flower farmers - 12 February
Planning your growing workshop @ North and Flower
Thursday 12 February 10.00-12.30
Ever wanted an inside look at how someone else manages their growing or new to flower farming? This workshop will talk you through how we plan our crops, maximise our space and optimise production.
All flower farms are different, so we'll be giving an insight into how we do things and talking through how you can work out the best approach for your growing space.
The workshop includes:
- A virtual tour of our growing spaces
- Planning crops and using a spreadsheet tool
- Maximising your germination rate and seed starting
- Using grow lights
- Planning successions
- Managing conditions for growing
- Optimising production
We’ll be learning in a small group and limit spaces to 6 per workshop to give everyone room to ask questions. There will be plenty of tea and cake. Please let us know if you have dietary restrictions.
Materials: You just need to bring yourself and a pen/paper to make notes.
Dress code: We will be working outside and in the studio, so please wrap up warm.
Location: North and Flower, Eddisbury Hall Lane, Macclesfield, SK11 0AE. We can collect participants from Macclesfield train station if required.
Rescheduling and refunds
Sadly we cannot offer refunds for workshops. If you are not able to make your booking, workshop places can be rescheduled once within 6 months, if there is availability on alternative workshop dates.
